Any experience with Wilhelmina Kids/ baby modeling?

I am thinking of getting my 5 month old a contract with WK. How do they treat babies? Can you give me some examples? What is the pay scale like? Thanks.

Wilhelmina is one of the top child modeling agencies. The pay scale has nothing to do with the agency but has to do with the client that chooses your client and what type of job it is. If it’s a one-time shoot for something like a small business or toy box, it will pay a lot less than if it’s a 30-second national television commercial for a company like Pampers

Child modeling is very difficult and there is a lot of turnover. Somtimess there might be 10 kids on the set for a single commercial, and they will go with whichever one is not fussy or asleep when they are ready to shoot. The other 9 kids don’t get paid for showing up. Also, if your kid shows up for 2 different shoots and is crying the whole time, you may get dropped by the agency.

They are not just looking for cute kids – there are millions of cute kids. They are looking for happy, alert kids who can make eye contact and respond with a smile when you call them. Also a kid who is going to be fine with strangers picking him/her up, posing them under bright lights and flash photography. Basically a really mellow kid. Fussy or clingy kids will not get any callbacks.
