I want to know if my classes are competitive.

I went from being an academic student in my freshman year to taking honors and AP courses my Sophomore and Junior year.

I did my best however I am concerned if colleges would look at my freshman and sophomore years in high school in a negative light. My high school doesn’t offer many AP classes to freshman and only took four AP classes (as of the end of Junior year) The reason why I haven’t taken AP classes in History or in English is because my school offers a special New Tech Student based Project Learning program that abides by the covey principals. The Program allows students to learn new material by creating a physical product that has a real world application weather its a presentation (power point, speech, museum exhibit, ect.). I felt that I would reap more benefits by staying in this program for all four years of my high school experience and I felt that this would benefit me in the real world. Sadly this program is only offered in an Honors and Academic format so I chose to stay in this program. However this will make colleges think that I chose an easier course load rather than a rigorous one. Freshman and Sophomores are highly discourages and rarely if ever take AP classes at my school. I was one of two students my sophomore year who took and AP course. Do you think I could get into a good university like MIT, Ann Arbor or University of Wisconsin-Madison having taken these courses?

I fully expect to make all A’s next year.

My school weights GPA on the 4.0 scale
4.0=A Academic
5.0=A Honors
6.0=A Advanced Placement

As for my GPA:
Unweighted: 4.0 (Straight A’s)
Weighted: 4.75

Class Rank: 3 out of 343 (top 1%)

Do you think my schudle is competive and do I stand a good change of getting in to a good engineering school like MIT, NC-State, U-Ann Arbor, U-Michigan.

My SAT I was a 1790 however I have planned to take it again as well as the SAT II and the ACT. This new SAT score increased by 300 points from my old Sat score.
By the end of my Senior year the only math class that I wouldn’t have taken that’s offered at my school is AP Stat and the only AP science class that I haven’t taken would’ve been AP Physics C (I have to have had of taken AP calc first).
