My baby pushed a bunch of buttons, and now when I turn on the scale, it shows pounds and ounces! All my recipes are metric!

The scale has two buttons, one marked Tare and one marked M/A. It is a TARA brand scale, small and round, meant for consumer use, but I’m hoping a pro or someone else out there might have suggestions.

I can get it back to grams by doing the following:
- When the scale is OFF, press both buttons.
- When it comes ON, press the M/A button once.
Then it will measure nicely in grams until it shuts off or I shut it off. When turned on again, it’s back to pounds and ounces.

When first purchased, the scale used only grams, and that’s what I’d like to get back to. I hate doing the whole rigmarole to switch back, esp bc it turns itself off if I don’t weigh anything for a couple of minutes.

Any hints?
