How do i lose my baby weight?
Hello– I have a eight month old. I breastfed, but i have now stopped. I am not big, i’m somewhat thin but everything is all stretched still, and the number on the scale is twenty five pounds more than before i was pregnant. I walked briskly for two or three miles a day for about a week, pushing a stroller and i didn’t lose ONE POUND (But i was breastfeedingg then, so i don’t know if that has something to do with it or not). Could someone help! Thank You

Good job on making it so long with the breastfeeding; I know how hard that is!
Also, way to go with the brisk walking; exercise is key! Don’t forget that just because the scale didn’t move, that doesn’t mean you didn’t change your body composition. Try getting a scale that measures your body fat %.
Unfortunately, often times when someone is trying to lose weight, they under-estimate their caloric intake. You really have to take the time to figure out how many calories you are consuming in a typical day. Just get out a pen and piece of paper and write down a typical days calories. I bet you’d be amazed how much you are over 1500 calories (a typical base metabolism).
From an exercise standpoint walking is really good for you. However, good resistance training is by far a better way to lose weight, especially if you are already somewhat thin. Really a combination of both resistance and cardio is the best.
If you aren’t used to watching what you eat and exercising, I suggest you take a look at the following article I wrote. I sum up a few of the basic programs out there so that you can get some idea before you go jumping into something:

Just remember, if 25 pounds is your goal, it will probably take you 12 weeks of hard work to lose that weight. Try to think of it as a lifestyle change and it will be much easier!
P.S. As for the loose skin, just give it time and things will naturally firm up as you lose the weight.
Good luck and God Bless!
