how do you read the little lines of a baby scale the ounces?

like when its 8lbs and 2oz what lines are 1ounces and wich are 2oz i knw they have like d 4oz on the scale but i cant read the little lines help please

      There are 16 ounces in a pound; so there should be 16 little lines between the pound lines, and each one should be 1 ounce.
