How early (as in age) can you tell the sex of a baby zebra finch?

How early (as in age) can you tell the sex of a baby zebra finch?
how long after they are hatched can you tell the sex of the baby finches?

i know that the males have red beak
black band across his chest
chestnut flank with white spots
the feathers under his neck are like scales
and on the other hand the female lack these features but are beautiful in their own way!
at what age are you able to see these features?

Cannot tell you what age but my book says that juveniles are the same as the females, but their bills are black. This suggests you would have to wait until the bills change to wax-red, perhaps at about 6 weeks of age … that’s is when it sex starts to become more apparent in budgerigars, although you are watching for colour changes in ceres. Look for any changes such as male – black chest bar, fine black and white barring on throat, orangey patch behind tear stripes and chestnut, white spotted flanks. These will not occur in females.
