I have an interesting question… I have experimented this myself and am confused…?

Here it is… Using a digital scale, I weighed myself and I weighed the food I was about to eat (minus the weight of the plate); I weight at 145lb and the food was exactly 1lb. After I ate the 1lb food, I was the same weight as before. Can someone explain how this is possible?
I weighed myself right after the last bite… About 5 seconds after the meal…

    Without having a true scientific scale, it is nearly impossible to measure the weight fluctuations of the human body. You lose water weight, through sweat, resperation, urination and other bodily functions. Even in a few minutes time, your weight can change by a few ozs.

    So you weigh yourself at 5pm, prepare a plate of food between 5 and 5:10pm, eat 1lb of food, put your dishes away and re-weigh yourself at 5:30pm. You actually could have burned up enough calories, and lost enough water weight in that time, for it to be reflected on the scale.

    im not entirly sure but its somthing around you gotta eat like 500 more ml (witch is like 500g) more then your daily intake to gain weight so if i need to eat 1kg a day and i only eat 900g i dont gain weight. if i eat over 1kg i gain weight i dont kno if thats entirly true though!!!

    what is the least count of your digital scale. Is it 1 kg. On weighing scales, it is difficult to confirm a particular weight if it is near to the least count.

    The same scale which weighs 150 lb, may not weigh a difference of 1 lb accurately.
