On a scale of 1-10 how bad does it hurt getting your belly button pierced?

I heard it’s not that painful, but the trampy look it presents is enough to forget it.

The needle actually peircing through your skin, 1.
Because the clamp is cutting off circulation around your belly botton, you dont feel the needle at all, aha.
Just depends on how bad you want it done… I have had it done twice and didn’t think it was bad at all either time (I had to take it out when I was prego).
I’d say maybe a 4 (1 lowest & 10 highest).
I’d go with the hoop belly button ring – it’s the easiest to clean and keep clean and rotate so it can heal properly. Good Luck!

I’ve never gotten anything pierced, but I had a friend get theirs pierced, and she said it hurt really bad. She’s kind of like you, though. Like you said, a big baby on pain. Judging from her experience (I was there, so it looked painful), I would say about….9.
Me personally, it didnt hurt at all. Just think of how cute its going to look afterwards. I have 2 in my bellybutton (one on top and one on bottom). The top one i got when i was 14 and the only part i felt was when he was putting the ring in (it felt weird) and the botton one i got last year, it was a quick pinch thats it. Its so worth it!
I dont know but they are sexy on a sexy tummy….if you have a gut, work on that first though….bringing attention to a fat gut doesnt make sense
my friend who got it done passed out from pain. My mom also had it done and didnt expect it to hurt that bad. She said she had to sleep on her back for a month, it was that sore! make sure its want you really want first and buy some numbing cream!

I used my workshop vice to get a grip on it, and cranked it up tight.
First, I tried drilling through it with my drill, but half way through, the battery went flat, so then I hit a nail through it with my hammer.
Make sure you hit it really hard the first time cos I had to have three goes.
Have lots of gauze really for clean-up.
(and make sure the darn cat isn’t in the room)
My g/friend has a piercing. Boy did that hurt ME when she got that.
Go figure.
Everything was going OK, it had healed up fine, till one day she was washing up at the sink wearing just my PJ top, and I snuck up from behind and locked her piercing to the cupboard door handle.
Hehehe. BIIIG FUN !!!
I left her there for 15 minutes……… and learned some cool new words too.
It’s funny how you think you know someone pretty well, but then realize you don’t.
