On a scale of 1 to 10, How badly have Baby-Boomers ruined this country?

1 meaning "They buggered things up pretty badly; but its nothing the smarter and more capable Gen Xers can’t handle"

10 meaning "The end is nigh! Repent, sinful Baby-Boomers, repent!"

What do you think? How bad do we Gen Xers have it coming to us?
Taterbug, please explain how my generation has brought crappy parenting upon themselves?

We did not choose to be raised by the whiniest, most irresponsible generation in American history.

Generation Xers … lives in a world of technology…. You cant think for yourselves… I live in a college town…. I see it every day… You cant live without cell phones, I pods, cable TV and computers ( the list goes on) You didn’t see baby boomers sitting in front of the BOOB TUBE all day long playing their dumb video games.. nope they were working… Most baby boomers weren’t a generation of illiterate potheads either… If you worked on a register( computer) I will guarantee you that you wouldn’t or couldn’t count it back to me..(change) nope you’d look up see the amount to give back and toss it at me and say 4.95 because that’s what the register said… I see it all the time… I actually had to read and learn… didn’t have calculators in school… I actually had to learn,,,, Your generation hasn’t… I can go on and on and on, but as I said.. you need to stop blaming us and take a look at yourselves because I know I myself has not contributed to your downfall… your generation has brought it all on yourself… and as far as the govt… I have not voted the morons in.. its YOUR generation, just like obama, because you went on that hope and change…. and its not going to get you anywhere *S*

We Gen-Xers have it now. It doesn’t matter if we are more of less capable. We are a small generation. The next generation – the children of the Boomers – will quickly overwhelm us. If you want to make a lasting impression, you’ll have to make your mark quick.
