I’ve found problems when I bought a few computers. Bigger and more software is not often a good idea. What do you use the computer for? I had a modem (No names will be mentioned.) 2 months after the one-year warantee expired get a fried out mother board and the hard drive was shot. I have an old computer from the 2002 days up-graded with a bigger hard drive and mother board and it works just fine. I run into problems when shopping for digital tv sets. From what I’m seen, to pick up free tv you still will need a good digital with analog converter box to retain the signals and sound quality. Clothing? I’ve bought name-brand shoes for a good amount of money to have them wear out in a few months. I’ve got shoes over 10 years old that I paid only for. They show no signs of wearing out yet. There are lots of cell phones, sopposiv;y new, that can’t hold a charged batter life very long. Or the key paids wear out. Or the screen detereorates. Don’t get me started on automobiles. To conclude, I would say that with the change in our president, we also need to demand better quality in the manufactured goods and services we have in not only America, but in the entire world. A lot of people a getting filthy rich at the costs of billions of people’s hard-earned pay. When, as a world, are people going to stand up and demand that when we pay for something, that it should last, be of the highest quality? Why does it seem to me, the world’s manufactured goods are based on a "buy it today throw it away tommorow" marketting sales pitch. This is why many people shop in discount food racks. Or, it’s why we buy used cars and not new ones. It is why we get most of our clothing or furniture at second hand stores. Until products are made that are of better quailty with a longer like expectancy, people are not going to shop for what’s for sale on any "grand" scale to fix our economy. Make good goods and the economy will improve, Keep making what not so good, and many more companies will go bankrupt, and many more will lose jobs, benefits, and so forth.
