The Known Universe by AMNH

The Known Universe takes viewers from the Himalayas through our atmosphere and the inky black of space to the afterglow of the Big Bang. Every star, planet, and quasar seen in the film is possible because of the world’s most complete four-dimensional map of the universe, the Digital Universe Atlas that is maintained and updated by astrophysicists at the American Museum of Natural History. The new film, created by the Museum, is part of an exhibition, Visions of the Cosmos: From the Milky Ocean to an Evolving Universe, at the Rubin Museum of Art in Manhattan through May 2010. If someone creates a MMORPG based on this data it will still never compare to the time spent travelling between destinations as WOW.

To know that I am not to be permanently imprisoned by these memories, that all pain is temporary.I and those I love are all a part of the same undying consciousness that had found a home in this organic matter, kept a record of its experiences. And when it is time to move on, the records are whiped clean and its home crumbles around it.But “it” is still there. We are sieves, the fine toothed comb that runs through consciousness, so that it may graze something–actualize itself.

This movie shows our insignificance. I seriously recomend everybody to watch the movie named “EARTH”. You´re gonna see thar our living condicion and it´s nice to described it as a miracle.

Just think about that, look outside the window – you see civilization, it’s fking wonderful, now think we are not alone, there are other civilizations we don’t know about. It’s amazing.
