why did i gain 8-10 pounds in 3 days?

my starting weight was 127 (iv been cutting down my food intake and working out; pilates: 40 minutes, walking: 30 minutes). I think Im starting my period in about a week to ten days. i havent exceeded my daily calories to more than 2000 per day. I was hoping to AT LEAST maintain and yet i gained all this "watery" weight. for instance, this morning i weighed 132, i went to the bathroom and did pilates and went back on the scale and i dropped two more pounds going to 130 pounds. and about 10 minutes ago i weighed myself and i weigh 135!! 3 or 4 days ago i weighed 127 (i think i may have even weighed 126). my scale isnt a digital it has a dial. please let me know when il go back down to 127 because i workout 40 minutes a day, i just started running 3 miles 6 days ago in the morning around 6 am, and walk 30 minutes a day and do weights 3 days a week. i drink SO MUCH WATER AND TEA AND TWO CUPS OF COFFEE IN THE MORNING. let me know when this all will go down.

This is normal if you just ate. Weigh yourself in the morning before you eat breakfast.

AND IN RESPONSE TO YOUR ANSWER TO MY QUESTION:
I’m in both phases. I’m lifting weights but not to get too bulky while lose fat by running and dieting.

its porabably from all the water and tea and coffee, you shuld get ride of it within a week, otherwise see a doctor.
Most of the time you will gain up to 6 pounds when your period is close, but all the bloating weighs a lot as well.

you weigh more in the morning than at night. even if you do not eat anything you’re body weight changes like a minimum of 2 pounds from morning to night but in reality your weight has not changed. the trick is to not be scale obsessed and weigh yourself only at the same time every few days

also there are always random causes for weight gain
and if you are workingout alot it maybe muscle gain (muscle weighs more than fat)

I think you’re scale might be wrong, or you need to see your doctor. It’s science that if you eat less than you burn you will lose weight. 3500 cals = 1 pounds, so i HIGHLY doubt you ate 35000 cals over the period of 3 days. It can also depend on when you weigh yourself. Always weigh yourself right when you wake up before you eat/drink anything, because your weight can flucuate from 2-4 pounds.
